La voluntad de los pueblos es saboteada por las cúpulas egoístas que quieren conservar el dominio. La voz del pueblo asediado, bombardeado, perseguido y desaparecido, se hace sentir, es un grito eterno que atraviesa toda la historia.
En un tremendo sopapo a la democracia, el 16 de septiembre de 1955 era derrocado Juan Domingo Perón y se instalaba un régimen de sofocación y desmovilización que empujó a las sombras a la mayoría de los argentinos. Libertadora se decía llamar esa revolución que acallaba las voces del pueblo y expulsaba al líder que esas multitudes aclamaban.
El 16 de septiembre de 1977, la dictadura militar, para homenajear aquel episodio que le permitió existir, secuestró y torturó a diez estudiantes secundarios que reclamaban por el boleto estudiantil. Solo uno de ellos pudo volver a ver la luz del día.
‘La noche de los lápices’ fue el título que los militares le dieron a esa madrugada gris y tenebrosa que con miedo y terror quiso apagar las llamas ardientes del compromiso y la pasión. No sabían –ni podrían saberlo- que semejantes fuegos no se extinguen ni con las más viles persecuciones.
