Fue cuando se apagaron las luces
y los mensajeros de la vanguardia
exhibieron sus miserias;
cuando la sangre manchó el suelo

para que nadie la niegue.
Cuando el pueblo descubrió su fuerza
y agotó los escapes;
sólo el cielo quedó descubierto
y un pájaro metálico cortó las nubes
llevándose hasta los consejos
que los carroñeros habían traído.
Fue cuando el tiempo marcó el pulso
mirando a un futuro desconocido
con una mano sosteniendo al pasado.
