Somos irreductibles. Nuestro origen es el conflicto, las relaciones de fuerzas, los campos tensionados, la trascendencia. Ya desde niños comenzamos a experimentar que la realidad, por momentos, está más allá de la magia que producimos con el deseo. A veces nos golpea con la fuerza de un martillo, rompiendo el frágil cascarón simbólico, haciéndonos sentir que la fantasía no alcanza, deseando que las cosas sean distintas de lo que fueron o son; es imposible, y entonces nos interpela una extraña sensación que manifiesta un límite. El tejido emocional que nos fluye por el cuerpo no es una empiria fácil de soportar.
En toda sociedad hubo límites, exclusiones, zonas oscuras por las que el hombre, aún, no se atreve a cruzar. 
En Profanaciones[1], Agamben, plantea que como sabían los antiguos, la felicidad es siempre hýbris, es decir desmesura, exceso, ruptura de la medida, que nos conduce a territorios desconocidos en los cuales, mediante el acto mágico, seremos felices, como un niño cuando inventa una lengua secreta. Ser mago significa crear, inventar, deshacerse de lo impuesto y buscar más allá de las estructuras contenedoras para proyectarnos a lo inexpresado. Ser mago significa despersonalizarse, y mediante una actitud sigilosa, iniciar un vaciado ontológico.
Es por ello que el acto de nombrar es políticamente poderoso, es la voz que nunca debemos perder, es la singularidad deseante que nos hace políticos. La palabra emancipa y van a tratar de quitárnosla. La resistencia es también una forma de creación. El poder, por más pasional que sea, no puede cometer el crimen perfecto: volverse un absoluto y engendrar lo singular. Como expresa Foucault: «El poder no es omnipotente ni omnisciente sino ciego e impotente»[2]. Hay algo que le es inapropiable, un acto emergente que siempre lo desborda y eso nos llena de esperanzas. El porvenir del hombre dependerá de su fuerza de voluntad y de la potencia de su deseo.
